My name is Hillary, and I like to make stuff.
I’ve been crafting since I was old enough to stop eating paste and start keeping it on the paper. (At age eleven! Just kidding. Sort of.) Over the years, I’ve dabbled in knitting, crocheting, collaging, painting, sewing, jewelry-making, and a period where I made a bunch of really ugly dolls.
My focus has always been on upcycling and recycling, at least for the most part. I’ve always had a strong appreciation for the designs on everyday objects like packaging, and I like to play with them – breaking them apart and putting them back together in new ways. So the majority of my projects utilize repurposed materials. My inspirations include The Cosby Show and super-pretentious Anthropologie catalogs.
